Neatsfoot oil has long been a go-to product for conditioning old leather. Cracks and dryness will disappear with a small application worked in by a microfibre cloth. It's also safe to use on your stitching.
The added oils will help protect the leather and soften with repeated applications.
As with all conditioners, be sure to test on a trial piece before commiting.
