Salpa is a bonded vegetable-tanned leather used to economically reinforce projects without adding much thickness. The fibers are cut down and rejoined with fats and latex, creating a stiffer article with good stretch resistance. Especially useful for items you don't want stretching over time, such as handles, watch straps, and belts.
Salpa is especially valuable for creating templates and prototypes. While paper struggles to imitate the properties of leather, Salpa has thickness and temper that keep your prototypes true. Be 100% sure your templates will work by practicing with the economical Salpa first!

This is a really nice product.
It's rather stiff for it's thickness, still has a nice feel (ofcourse you put this between layers).

Smooth buying experience.
